All about fishing at Lakewood

Here, you will find everything you need to know about fishing at Lakewood.  From the Catch and Release rules to general guidelines and expectations to make fishing enjoyable!  You can also see the lake survey completed in the Summer of 2019.  This will show you the type of fish in both lakes.

Catch and Release Policy

To grow trophy Bass, it is important to maintain a healthy predator-prey ratio in the lakes.  Please remove 13” and under if you want to keep Bass. By removing some of the smaller Bass, this will reduce competition among the larger Bass and reduce pressure on our forage species. Any Bass caught over 13” in length needs to be released back into the lake.
