BIO:
Wayne was born in Longview, Texas and graduated high school at Rivercrest (Bogata, TX) in 1981. Served 9 years in the United States Navy. In 1993, he moved his family to Gilmer where he delivered propane until 2000 and then opened a computer business.
In 2011, he and his wife, Naomi, moved into the Lakewood community. In 2013, Wayne became a Board Member and has been a part of what is making Lakewood a better place to live.

This position on the board is current accepting applications. The responsibilities of the Secretary is as follows:

Records and publishes the minutes of each HOA Board meeting and the Quarterly Members’ Meetings; help with publication of quarterly newsletter; notification of upcoming meetings; assist with event planning and organizing.

BIO:
Rob was raised in Tyler, Texas and graduated from John Tyler High School in 1966. After college at (La Tech - pssst...he knows Bradshaw and Phil Roberson) he joined the United States Air Force in 1971 and retired in 1991. He officially became a Lakewood Homeowner in 1994 and has been the Board of Directors Treasurer since 2018. He will complete his tenure in February 2021. Rob's statement on his desires for the community is:
"I would love to see Lakewood become the thriving neighborhood it once was - pool, family activities, community involvement. I believe that the present Board of Directors are pushing in that direction. In short, I would like to be part of a movement that makes this neighborhood great again!"

BIO:
Charles attended Temple High School and then on to Oklahoma University. He worked for General Motors dealers for 35 and finally retired from Gateway Buick and GMC. In 2018, he and his wife, Carolene moved into the Lakewood community. They have 2 sons, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Avens statement for his desires for the community is:
"I would like to see more member participation in the HOA instead of only a few people making a decision for everyone." ~ Charles Avens
